The camera of the Nokia N73
I remember when the first of the 3 mega pixel camera phones was launched, just over two years ago in the UK. The Sony Ericsson was the first to make an impact with the now famous k800i mobile phone (incidentally this phone was the fastest selling mobile phone in history at that point). Some would say that this was the best camera phone of its spec to be made, but many would argue against Sony and their Cyber Shot range.
The Nokia N73 was its only real competition with regards camera functionality. And although it is not as straight forward to use, and doesnt have as many gimmicky features, I would tend to agree.
It all comes down to the quality of the lens. The lenses used on the N73 are the same make as those used on top end surgical equipment. Carl Zeiss lenses indicate quality beyond measure, so they lend themselves so well to the N73. In terms of what phone I prefer, I would probably choose the Sony Ericsson, but just for the camera feature I would have the N73 every day.
